Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

I am not, and have not been a big fan of the Bush Doctrine, nor of nation building, even under the guise of spreading democracy. However, I am not so stubborn as to completely ignore results.

If things proceed as Charles suggests, then I'll have a portion of crow to eat, but it will taste very good.

As always, Charles Krauthammer is brilliant. He is a national treasure, underestimated in his time.
