The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

I just watched Barack Obama stand up on the floor of the US Congress and call this brilliant woman everything just short of Uncle Tom. Then I was treated to Susan Estrich telling everyone with a goofy smile how acceptable he is to the Democrat mainstream. So I guess we can infer that the Democrat mainstream finds class-baiting, racist filth eminently acceptable. My, my, my, how little things have changed.
