Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

National Legal and Policy Center Rips Wachovia Slavery Apology

The more companies cave in to the reparations shake-down and con artists, the more of them who will roll out of the muck to extort money. Of course, those of us from the Winston-Salem area who are familiar with "Walk-all-over-ya" bank are well aware that their management is definitely a brick or two shy of a full load.

I've never done business with Wachovia. This will prevent me from ever considering it in the future.
