Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

1 Down, 100's to go

Absolutely! I don't get the "war on drugs". It's futile. We have so many problems that outweigh this one.

I feel the same way about illicit drug use as I do tobacco. It's none of the government's business if someone wants to slowly (or quickly, depending on the drug of choice) kill themselves.
