Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

The Hottest Conservative Babe I've Ever Seen



Explanation: I saw this 'click-on' web ad for conservative merchandise (t-shirts, bumperstickers, etc.) while reading Andy's "A Jones For..." article in a link that proceeds this post.

While I'm certainly not knocking the attractiveness of any radically conservative woman, but... c'mon! Where did this one live while I was young and single? I never remembering meeting her! You don't actually think that she could be — gasp! — a sheep in wolf's clothing???
