Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Jagger Says Song Not an Anti-Bush Tirade

Apparently, Sir Mick thinks we're stupid. Either that or he's feeling the heat from his little impetuous temper tantrum. Or could it be that all is going according to plan?

The Stones should have been smart and retired after Exile on Main Street, they were pretty much done at that point.
