Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Chavez the Marxist

"The term suggests a dictator, so it actually doesn't fit Chavez, who's twice been democratically elected in national elections."

The man is a Marxist... He was "democratically elected" the same way as Castro, Saddam, and the late Yassar Arafat were "democratically elected." It's amazing the love affair people on the far left have with communist dictators.
