Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Hypocrisy

"Here's my point: the hypocrisy of a few is no excuse for the rest of us to shirk our responsibilities as stewards of the environment."
Personally, I just like to point out people's hypocrisy. I believe people who are being hypocritical are shirking their responsibilities as stewards of the environment... Talk is cheap.

"Why are so many conservatives are afraid of the word conservation? It's puzzling."
I'm not afraid of the word conservation. People make fun of me everyday at work because I obey all posted speed limits, make sure my tires are properly inflated, etc. I just "practice what I preach," and so do other conservatives I know. :-)
