Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Rap star attacks Bush at benefit

I'll have to pick up a copy of the Sunday NY Times so I can read the op-ed by Maureen Dowd in which she blasts this racist piece of garbage for his ignorant and hateful remarks.

What? Oh. I must have fallen asleep and started dreaming.
