Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: RE: Early memories

I recently read an article on this subject. Most psychologists and scientists think that retention of toddler memories by people older than the age of 6 to 9 years is generally related to trauma, usually psychological or psycho-sexual. Apparently, Behethland was deeply impressed with being shut out of the bathroom. That's pretty understandable. However, it is hard to imagine Bill Clinton having been psychologically traumatized by tall buildings in New Orleans. Since it has been demonstrated repeatedly that he is a congenital liar, I suggest we simply apply Occam's razor.
