Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Dumb(_!_) Quote Of The Day

Spike Lee has never been known for his brains or his sanity. He is a hero to the MTV generation because he says dumb things in public and usually gets away with it. He is also an unapologetic racist and a race pimp, in the vein of Louis Farrakahn, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton. Also, his movies are mindless, boring wastes of time.

Other than that, I'm sure he's a nice fellow.
