Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Steve opines: Bush doesn't have anything like the mettle of his cold-war predecessors (excepting Carter, of course). Iran has little to fear from us at the moment.
I don't see how you can say that since we have fought two wars under Bush. I believe Bush will strike Iran if he has to do it before his term is up.
