Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Jihad is fun! Vote Democrat!


If Democrats win a slight majority in the House or Senate, Americans will get shrill, insane leadership of the nation in time of war.

Sorry, Ann, I just can't quite seem to grasp how that is worse than the shrill, insane leadership we have now.

The shilling has begun. I think I'm going to go hide somewhere for the next couple of weeks.
