Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: 'Seinfeld' Star Michael Richards Apologizes on 'Letterman' for Racial Slurs

Great. So with everything else that is going on in the world, I suppose we're going to be inundated with media babble about this non-event for the next two weeks or so.

I'd love to hear a rational explanation of why this is important enough to merit national attention.
