Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Edwards is edging closer to running

Watching The Beast in Pants Suits put the smackdown on the upstart Silky Pony will be genuinely entertaining. It may be the only reason to pay any attention to the next election cycle. If he doesn't get too nasty and behaves as a good little gamma male should, maybe Her Beastliness might even let him be VP. Johnny-boy shouldn't have too much trouble honing his metrosexual skills.
