Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: RE: Five-Day Work Week

Personally speaking, the less time they are in Washington, the better off we'll be because once they are in Washington, they pass bills and make new laws to occupy their time. If Congress would just do those things that are required by the Constitution, serving in Congress would only need to be a part-time job.
