Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

US bugged Diana's phone on night of death crash

UK Guardian

The American secret service was bugging Princess Diana's telephone conversations without the approval of the British security services on the night she died, according to the most comprehensive report on her death, to be published this week.

So let me get this straight: Bush intercepts phone calls to-&-from suspected terrorists and liberals want to impeach him for it, and now we find out Clinton tapped Princess Diana's phones (without a warrant I might add)... I wonder what the libs think about that??? What will the editorial pages from the New York Times to our very own Winston-Salem Journal do now that their guy did the same thing??? Since Clinton says that terrorism was his #1 priority, maybe he thought Diana was a terrorist. :-)

Newsflash: Diana wasn't an american, nor on american soil. Not a violation of the FISA act.

Of course Clinton did this, it was critical to know if she dating anyone.
