Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Andy: According to the polls, he's dropping like a rock...

Maybe, but he's still second, following Giuliani. There's your Republican race. Excited?

By the way, has there ever been a president with his third wife serving as First Lady?

Further, why should McCain address the "nation's premier gathering of conservatives"? He's not all that conservative, is he? Seems to me that he's 'keeping it real,' so to speak.
