Stokes appoints interim superintendent

DANBURY (Winston-Salem Journal) - The Stokes County Board of Education appointed Nelson Jessup last night as the school system’s interim superintendent.

After a unanimous vote during closed session of the school board’s meeting, Sonya Cox, the chairwoman of the board, said that the decision was easier than it could have been.

Andy, voting in "Closed Session" is against the law. This way each can claim they voted "no" when something happens.

I can't remember the procedure, but I think we should file an open meetings law violation. Make them do the vote over again.

The retards on the BofE have only been told these things half a million times. It must be too much to ask that they remember it.
