Interim health director brings experience to job

She will begin working in Stokes on Dec. 3, overseeing 50 full-time positions

(Winston-Salem Journal) - Jeanette “Jenny” Kirksey Braswell says she plans to focus on improving staff morale when she takes over next month as the interim director of the Stokes County Health Department, which lost both its director and a physician last month.

“There seems to have been a general lack of leadership in that department for quite a while,” Braswell said. “The staff there is very good, so I think they just need someone to lead them along.”
