Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

West Virginia Woman Finds Decomposing Body in Dead Mother's Closet

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. (Fox News) — The daughter and son-in-law of a Charles Town woman who died made a gruesome discovery while going through her bedroom closet — the decomposing body of another woman wrapped in plastic, blankets and a sleeping bag.

Okay, I have the mystery figured out. The old woman was using the other gal's social security checks. She probably became non-functioning earlier then croaked. The newly dead woman may not have even done the other one in. Perhaps, she found her dead after being incapacitated for a while and decided she didn't mind the smell with the check in the mail.
