Bully Pulpit

I'm sure Stokes County is breathing a sigh of relief that Becky Boles has filed for re-election. We now have somebody to vote for in November. It makes my heart proud to see her intellect being put to good use on the school board. She's one of Stokes County's treasures. :)

As I have said before, the irony of Stokes County having a functional illiterate on its skool bored is almost too rich to handle. There is no reason or rationality to the election of the board or its operation afterward. It is a maudlin emotional organization that barely manages to handle the basic logistics of running an enterprise like a school system.

It's hard to believe that you and Ronnie Tilley were once candidates for the Stokes County school board. What in the hell were you guys thinking? Ha! :-)
