Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. CNN Comes Up Short On Reporting Palin Bikini Photo Fraud and Other Rumors

(Fox News) - A CNN reporter this week didn’t seem to know or care that a fake photo showing a bikini-clad, rifle-toting Sarah Palin had been widely debunked days earlier as a fraud, the latest in series of incidents involving apparent misstatements or inaccurate reporting by the news network.

It's only September and this campaign is already dumber than even I imagined it would be. Of course, there's nothing more important going on in the country or in the world than the silly, juvenile name-calling in which our so-called adult leaders are engaged.
