Big changes in Stokes 2009 graduation plans

(The Stokes News) - In a close vote, the Stokes County Board of Education elected to change graduation plans for three Stokes County high schools. Three board members—Becky Boles, Sonya Cox and Steve Shelton—voted to move the 2009 graduation sites for West Stokes and South Stokes to First Assembly of God Church in Winston-Salem while leaving the Vikings’ graduation at the North Stokes campus.
