Board agrees to set up pods for Nancy Reynolds students

They would attend classes on campus of Pinnacle Elementary

DANBURY (Winston-Salem Journal) - The Stokes County Board of Education voted yesterday to set up pods at Pinnacle Elementary School so that students at Nancy Reynolds Elementary School can attend classes there while their school is being renovated.

However, the board is going to have to wait for $25.7 million for renovations and other capital projects including about $1 million for the pods.

At its regular meeting after the school-board meeting, the Stokes County Board of Commissioners took no action on the school board's multimillion-dollar request.
