Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

White House introduces the ObamaPrompTer.


(Exurban League) - Despite the growing concerns of the press, President Barack Obama is moving full-speed ahead with his innovative use of TelePrompTer.

In a little publicized speech to healthcare representatives, the White House debuted a cutting edge "cuing device" to assist the busy executive with his public speaking needs.

The ObamaPrompTer, shown here in prototype, is a fully mobile unit that is actually worn on the President's head. No longer will advance staff be required to set up and remove the bulky traditional TelePrompTer units.
