Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Gingrich: Obama Discovered In Europe That ‘Nice Doesn’t Get You Anything’



"I think he went over there believing that if he smiled a lot and bowed a lot, if he used the right words, that the Europeans would want to be nice to him. And I think what he just discovered is nice doesn't get you anything."
