Cheap Trips: Hanging Rock State Park

DANBURY (By Roxanna Haynes, Fox 8 News) - The most famous of Hanging Rock State Park's 20 miles of hiking trails is the park's namesake, which leads visitors to a rocky precipice overlooking the Piedmont.

"Probably 90 percent of the people that come to the park go to Hanging Rock," says Park Ranger Jane McClure. "If you want to see a waterfall, Cascades, Window Falls and Hidden Falls are probably the easiest to find."

The difficulty levels of the park's hiking trails range from easy to strenuous, which explains why it attracts all ages of visitors.
