Dash Won't Play at New Stadium This Year

(Fox 8 News) - The Winston-Salem Dash will not play games in a new downtown stadium this year, the team announced Wednesday.

The remaining 2009 schedule will be played at Wake Forest Baseball Park, formerly Ernie Shore Field.

The club had previously announced it would play games at Wake Forest through mid-June before switching to the new stadium downtown. Now, team officials say the Dash will begin the 2010 season in the new ballpark.
