Dispute Over Money Owed: Contractors file liens over One Park Vista

(By Wesley Young, Winston-Salem Journal) - The general contractor who worked on the One Park Vista downtown condominium development has filed a $3.1 million lien against the property.

John S. Clark Construction LLC filed the lien June 23 against One Park Vista LLC, which is managed by developer Kerry Avant.

One Park Vista is part of a larger Downtown Civic Plaza project that Avant wants to build in the center of downtown Winston-Salem. The Downtown Civic Plaza would surround an underground parking deck that's topped with a public park, and have buildings with office, retail and residential spaces.
