Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Video: Nadler won’t use ObamaCare if it passes

(By Ed Morrissey, Hot Air) - Neil Cavuto hits Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) with the question that every host should ask Congressional supporters of ObamaCare, and Nadler fumbles it. Members of Congress get one of those “gold plated” health insurance plans that many in Congress want to tax to fund health-care reform. Cavuto wonders whether Nadler — who once claimed that Congress would provide that level of coverage to all Americans through ObamaCare — would trade his existing coverage for what Nadler proposes to impose on the rest of us. Nadler tries ducking but winds up with egg on his face:
