Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

FNC Reporter: No Answer From WH About Unsolicited Responses to ‘Fishy’ E-Mail Request



"I have offered to give Robert Gibbs and the White House some of the e-mails from people who said they never asked for anything from the White House, never subscribed, never signed up. None of these e-mails they've identified to me were forwarded to them."
