Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Hugo Chavez Apparently Not a Fan of Fox News



(By Meredith Jessup, Townhall.com) - Instead of answering a question about his friendship with Holocaust-denying Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Chavez chose to tell Fox News how "stupid" Sean Penn thinks they are. I wonder how Chavez would've answered the question if the reporter had said he was from CNN...
