Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Man Gets DUI for Driving Motorized Wheelchair on Highway



(WHAS) - The wheelchair driver said he borrowed the scooter from a friend because he hurt his foot. He also admitted to partaking of a 12 pack of beer. His blood alcohol level was nearly 3 times the legal limit.
