Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RNC ad: “Dictionary”

(By Ed Morrissey, Hot Air) - The RNC has a new web ad in response to Barack Obama’s fumble with George Stephanopoulos over the definition of the word “tax”. As their ad argues, Obama and his Democratic colleagues Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should have an intimate familiarity with the word, since the ObamaCare proposal has eight new taxes embedded into it. One of those taxes will apply to medical supplies and emerging technology, which will discourage innovation and better therapies:
