Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Video: John Bolton blasts Obama’s delay on Afghanistan

(By Ed Morrissey, Hot Air) - After the news broke last night that Barack Obama had rejected all of the options presented to him on how to proceed in Afghanistan, John Bolton blasted Obama for failing to provide leadership on the issue. The conflicting leaks coming from the White House shows weakness and division, which strongly hints that Barack Obama has not exercised any control over the debate in the War Room.
