Rolling Stone guitarist Ron Wood arrested for allegedly assaulting girlfriend
(Fox News) - Ron Wood, guitarist for the Rolling Stones, was arrested last night and charged with assaulting his girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova in Esher, England, Sky News reports.
He was released from jail after posting bail.
Bernard Doherty, a rep for the Rolling Stones, confirmed that Wood had been arrested, and said the band would not be issuing a statement.
Wood, who split from his wife of 24 years last year, has been involved in an on-again, off-again relationship with Ivanova since 2008.
