Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Nick Gillespie from Reason.TV ‘pwns’ Meme the Health Nazi

The Right Scoop: This is a clip from Stossel where Nick Gillespie gets into it with MeMe Roth, primarily because she interjects herself into his segment (she was in previous segments). My favorite part:

Meme – “As long as other people are paying the price, you force all of us to give an opinion on how you live your life.”

Nick – “Then the solution to this crisis then is getting rid of socialized medicine.”

But you really have to see it to get it’s awesomeness. Plus, Nick really goes ‘alpha’ on Meme. I’m impressed!
