Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. An A-list performer who takes big bucks to deliver a private-party performance for a regime that supports terrorism, or for a man who just got done busting his wife’s nose on Christmas Day? Rachel Sklar at Mediaite first reported on Beyoncé Knowles’ decision to take as much as $2 million to provide entertainment for Hannibal Gaddafi’s New Year’s Eve party, which was later confirmed by multiple media outlets:
