The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Bill O'Reilly Nails Stephanopoulos' Critique of Palin, Compares: 'Nancy Pelosi's a Genius?'



(Eyeblast.tv) - Fox News host Bill O'Reilly on Thursday knocked down questions by George Stephanopoulos as to whether Sarah Palin is ready to run for President. After allowing that the former Alaska governor needs some "seasoning," O'Reilly mocked, "...Give me a break. Nancy Pelosi's a genius? She's the Speaker of the House. She's afraid to come on my program, Stephanopoulos."
