Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Caught on Tape: Spectators Injured by Falling Tree During Marine Helicopter Demo



(NY1) - Witnesses at the scene tell NY1 the wind force of an Osprey aircraft doing a demonstration knocked over part of a tree in Clove Lakes Park. A total of 10 people suffered minor injuries. One person was taken to Richmond University Medical Center.
