What is to become of Stokes Reynolds Memorial Hospital? Citizens can speak up at public hearing [this] week

(By Leslie Bray Evans, The Stokes News) - Stokes County residents will have a chance to voice their opinions on what should be done with Stokes Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Danbury. A public hearing solely for that purpose will be held on Thursday, May 27, at 7 p.m. in Courtroom A at the government complex in Danbury.

To open that public hearing, Jimmy Walker, chairman of the Stokes County Board of Commissioners, will read a list of possible options for the future of the county’s hospital. Then the citizens will be given the opportunity to comment or present other options.
