The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Barney Frank Assures "Banks Will Fail" With Financial Regulation Reform



(Real Clear Politics) - Rep.Barney Frank (D-MA) on passing financial regulation reform and banks: "They will fail and that's without question."

"Sarah Palin was half-right, we do have death panels this year, but they're for big financial institutions. So they'll go out of business," Frank said.
