Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Charles Krauthammer: Democrats' Election Strategy Isn't Going To Work



Charles Krauthammer: "If it's a referendum on Obama, the Democrats are going to do really badly. They want to make it a choice. Obama will always say, 'Do you want the guys that drove us into a ditch, redo their policies?' He wants to make the Republicans the villains...The problem is it's not going to work. After two years, Bush is a memory, and he's an excuse."
