Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

MSNBC Hosts Pile On Sharron Angle; Joe Scarborough Calls Candidate ‘Jackass'



(Breitbart.tv) - For the record, the actual quote from [Sharron] Angle: "if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies and saying, 'My goodness what can we do to turn this country around? And I'll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out." ...Not exactly the way Chris Matthews reported her words, is it?
