Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Charles Krauthammer: Obama Has An "Affinity" For Islam



Dr. Charles Krauthammer: Given the fact that you don't see him coming out of a church with the Bible in hand, as you would a Bush or a Clinton and the fact that he's had this emphasis on Islam, I can understand why the numbers have widened.
