Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

John McCain Is A Little Unclear On His Opinions On The 14th Amendment

(By Jon Bershad, Mediaite) - [Last night], Sean Hannity tried his darndest to pin down John McCain on his thoughts on a possible repeal of the 14th Amendment. The strongest opinion McCain seemed to give is that he’s not entirely opposed to the idea of maybe having hearings on the subject.
