The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Federal Agents Seize Chinqua-Penn Plantation

REIDSVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) - Federal agents have seized Chinqua-Penn Plantation in Rockingham County following a lawsuit filed last week against the plantation's owner.

In a recent report by the Winston-Salem Journal, the plantation's owner Calvin Phelps is involved in a bankruptcy lawsuit.

Rockingham County Sheriff Sam Page said the U.S. Marshal's Office sought help from his office in seizing the 27-room house.
