Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

(Breitbart.tv) - Let's all remember that Rachel Maddow is a very, very, serious journalist.

(Townhall.com) - What is Christine doing here that prompts Maddow at the end to snidely look down on her? If one truly lives by the teachings of Jesus and wishes to follow Him with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, I would hope they would take His statement from the Sermon on the Mount seriously (Matthew 5:27-30):

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell."

Liberals tut-tut Jesus the Messiah, Jesus the teacher, and His true followers as they promote a lifestyle contrary to His. Libs poo-poo O'Donnell's promotion of abstention, purity, and dedication to Jesus while they lift up those who "choose" to abort babies and obey every one of their lustful desires. Bravo!
