The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. (Breitbart.tv) - A Qantas jet bound for Sydney was forced to turn back to San Francisco after an engine problem caused a hole to be punched in the metal shell around it.
